CONCEPT:
Founded in 1988, Amsterdam Sinfonietta is an independent music ensemble with an international reputation and a rich, varied repertoire. Studio Dumbar has worked with the ensemble for over a decade. One of the most notable aspects of the collaboration is the evolving poster series designed to advertise concerts. Since the beginning, the design of the seasonal posters has been driven by one aim: to create visually arresting posters that succeed in expressing the innovative spirit and broad spectrum of music performed. This series of posters responds typographically to the musical themes of the performance being advertised.
