CONCEPT:

For our annual ?How it Works? issue we give our readers a concise visual primer on a variety of topics?one per broadsheet page. The challenge was how to make a visually cohesive issue around a very eclectic mix of topics. To do so, we created a compartmentalized design system using our proprietary typefaces. Each page has its own logo created by Francesco Muzzi. The cover type is designed and illustrated by Giacomo Gambineri.
