CONCEPT:

The Madre logo is an expression of the stretchy, malleable nature of pizza dough and the graceful fluidity of the ocean, referencing the imported Mediterranean seawater used in the pizza dough. Honouring the pizza makers superstition with numbers and the eighteenth century board game Tombola, a range of meaningful numbers where incorporated into the branding and dining experience . These included:

No 22: The Madman (Ettore Bertonati, Pizza Maker)

No 12: Soldiers (Staff)

No 46: Money (Bill plate).
