Gotham Bold, Gotham Regular, and custom calligraphy
CONCEPT:
By bringing people together, Agape aspires to be more than a wine brand. This vision inspired the complementary typographic label designs, where CABS’ written name is complete only when two bottles sit side by side. The custom calliGraphy was intentionally executed in an expressive/ artistic manner as we did not want to prioritize legibility or calligraphic prowess, but rather sought to achieve a balance between the positive space (ink, intent, and form) and the negative space. The wine droplets absorbed by the labels’ texture feel less like stains and more like parts of a dance of life.
