Brian LaRossa is the design director of three imprints for Scholastic’s education division. After hours he writes essays for Design Observer, teaches at CUNY City Tech, is a member of Adobe’s Type Advisory Council, and manages his own type foundry.

Brian’s work has won awards from the Type Directors Club, Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Print Magazine, and his experimental poetry is included in the permanent collection of the MoMA Library. He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from MICA. He’s also a graduate of AIGA’s Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders program at the Yale School of Management. Brian lives and works in New York City.
