Type Directors Club to Host 2019 Type Drives Culture Conference March 1 in New York
A one-day conference about the intersection of type and culture. Get your tickets here!
The 2019 Type Drives Culture Conference will be held on March 1st in New York City at the SVA Theatre. Our theme — Type: More ______ Than Ever — prompts presenters and conference attendees to fill in the blank about the present and future of type in a diverse and global context. Read more about our special guests here.
Join us for this special one-day event to meet and hear designers and thinkers in a lively series of provocative talks and panel discussions. Our sincere hope is that everyone who comes feels encouraged to share their perspectives and opinions on type, design, and today’s world.
We will also have a panel discussion with Dan Rhatigan of Adobe Fonts, Irin Kim of Google Fonts, and Charles Nix of Monotype moderated by Juliette Cezzar, and two other panels that you won’t want to miss, moderated by Jason Pamentel and Gloria Kondrup of the Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography in Pasadena.
We’ll start early and keep the conversation going through a two-hour reception with all the speakers.
Come help us fill in the blank on March 1st! For more, visit our conference website.
