TDC63 Exhibition in Grenada, Spain

The Type Directors Club 63rd Annual Communications Design and 2017 Typeface Design Exhibitions will be on display in the gallery and throughout the Estación Diseño school in Amilla near Grenada through the end of July. Estación Diseño hosts this exhibition annually, and continues in this tradition during 2018.
This exhibition is co-sponsored by Estación Diseño and AAD Disenadores de Andalucia. Opening on at 6:30 p.m. on May 9 includes an introduction by Joan Antoni Canal, the director of Bilbao’s Internacional Design Inspiration; a motion graphics and typography presentation by designers Rafa Galeano and Francis Lopez; and the debut of the latest issue of El Intercambiador Express, a magazine dedicated to art, design and culture that is produced by the students and faculty.
The “World’s Best Typography” exhibition includes over 200 selections of winning work from the TDC’s annual international typeface design competition and communication design competition selected by an international jury of top designers.
The exhibition displays typography in a wide range of categories including books, posters, magazines, fanzines, multimedia applications, and animation pieces from many countries including the United States, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the People’s Republic of China, South Korea, and others.
This TDC63 exhibition opens in Grenada following the exhibition’s tour to Tokyo, Seoul, Warsaw, Madrid, Bielefeld, Bangkok, Beijing, Hanoi, London, Santo Domingo, Shanghai, and New York.
The gallery is open 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
