For over ten years, Bertram Schmidt-Fridrichs --typographer, printer, publisher-- has been the TDC German Liaison and has managed the TDC exhibition in Germany. Bertram and his wife, Karin, will discuss what is needed to survive in a small niche market of books for graphic designers, type lovers, and related maniacs. They will also report on the situation of the Type Directors Club and the TDC Show in Germany.
