- An Introduction to Book Arts and Modern Publishingis a foray into book arts and modern publishing that in a single course offers workshops, tours, and lectures given by a lively and varied panel of experts including Mark Dimunation, Chief of the Rare Book and Special Collections Division, Library of Congress; Brenda Marsh, Vice President of Author Relations at Barnes & Noble; and David Kirk, author & illustrator of the popular Miss Spider children's book series.

- Macy Chadwick :: Printing In Layers: Intuition, Innovation and Accident in the Artist's Book
- Don Glaister :: Putting the Art Back in the Craft

About The Institute :
Students may select one course of the three offered in a session and all levels of experience, from beginners to experts, are welcome. Courses are limited to 8–12 participants who will enjoy well-equipped & air-conditioned studios on the Wells College campus, air-conditioned dorm rooms, and ample time to exchange ideas and enjoy camaraderie with fellow book artists.
