St Bride 1855 Arms
Siren Flags: printed silk squares of the 1940s and 50s

Don't miss the opportunity of seeing these beautiful printed pieces, which utilise the full graphic repertoire of the contemporary letterer and illustrator in lyrical representations of decades overshadowed by the influence of war. Bright war-time propaganda in the guise of fashionable accessories. Beautiful drawing, not on the page, but instead on these simple silk squares. Of value to all those interested in the visual arts as well as vintage fashions, this exhibition is a rare treat. An opportunity to see part of a private collection which has toured in the USA but never in the UK.

The exhibition is curated by Paul and Karen Rennie, collectors of 20C design material.
