Please be our guest... at the 13th annual Oak Knoll Fest. It is an international celebration of the book arts offering a unique adventure for fine book lovers, collectors and those simply wanting to learn more about the book arts by intermingling with fine-press book traditionalists and artists. Bringing in 40 different fine-presses from around the world to exhibit their work, Oak Knoll Fest is the largest Fine-Press Exhibition in North America, providing a truly rare opportunity for you to come peruse and enjoy the work of the fine-press world.

The Fest :
Oak Knoll Fest is the largest international Fine Press exhibition in the United States. There will be about 40 presses in attendance. You will be able to browse, shop and talk with the printer/publisher/artists that create this wonderful and unique works. The presses are registering now, so keep checking the Fest website to see old and new friends.
Andrew Hoyem will speak on Saturday at 10AM, on October 7, about the history of his Arion Press and give us his thoughts on why he sometimes chooses traditional texts and presents them in exciting new formats. His talk will be concluded with a question and answer period. His award winning private press is one of the premier private presses in the United States.
On Sunday, at 10AM, David Schoonover, Curator of Rare Books at the Univeristy of Iowa, will act as moderator for a panel of four to discuss the same theme of the use of traditional texts. We are sure that their discussion will lead to thought provoking questions and time has been scheduled for posing questions at the conclusion of their presentation.
