Typography and Image on Modern Newsprint

John Berry will show examples of newspaper redesign from around the world, including work by some of the best-known publication designers, and will comment on the trend toward smaller page size.

He is an award-winning book designer and typographer, author of Contemporary Newspaper Design, editor of U&lc: influencing design and typography. Both books, from Mark Batty Publisher, will be available for sale.

Presented by the Arion Press and the Grabhorn Institute.
