abecedarian: This limited edition book became the first imprint of the Parsons Communications Design Press.

The Program :
- A screening of the film:" The Making of the abecedarian".
- Live demonstration of carving, printing and binding.
- Students will hand-print a limited edition keepsake for all attendees.
Participants :
Steve Kennedy is a cofounder of Interrobang Design Studio and an adjunct professor in the BFA program at Parsons School of Design. Steve is also a trustee of the Graphic Communications Scholarship Foundation.

From the Colophon
One hundred copies of this book were hand-printed on linoleum presses on Mohawk 80-pound super fine eggshell, stab-sewn by hand in Mohawk Ultrafelt covers. The characters were designed and carved into blocks as a volunteer summer project in the Communication Design Department at Parsons School of Design.
