The Exhibition :
In conjunction with Fused Magazine, we present a celebration of the hottest artists and designers from the Gig Art genre. This exhibition showcases some of the most collectable posters of the 20/21 century. It's a cutting edge display of poster art and the music that inspired it, including artwork for such luminaries as the Strokes, the Doors, Beck, Iggy Pop, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the Beastie Boys, the Breeders, the Foo Fighters, Jane's Addiction, the Vines and many more.
Concert posters, rock posters, or concert artwork have recently taken on the term 'Gig Art'. A gig poster lets you visually experience the band based wholly on the poster artists' imagination. Some poster artists' representation of a band is often more interesting than the band itself. Every artist has his/her own style. Some illustrate their own poster content from scratch, some use popular images and twist them into their own creation.
A unique touring exhibition that is not to be missed.
