The Presentation :

There is going to be a presentation of The Parmenides Projectat the Grolier Club, on Friday, 25 March 2004. I [Maxim Zhukov] suspect Robert Bringhurst, the author of the new translation, will be coming to New York for the event from his Quadra Island, in Heriot Bay, BC, where he now lives and works. (Alas Robert will not be in New York, but his books will be M.Zh.])

Parmenides, an archaic Greek typeface designed by Dan Carr, type founder and punch-cutter, especially for the Parmenides fragments (he has cut by hand 24 steel punches to drive matrices and cast the metal type for the hand-setting and letterpress printing of the Greek text) was among the winners of bukva:raz!, the international type design competition of the Association Typographique Internationale that took place in 2001 in Moscow.
