The exhibition of bukva:raz! winning entries is scheduled to open at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City on Friday, January 17, 2003, at 6 p.m.

About the exhibition :

bukva:raz!, the international type design competition, organized by Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI), was an official part of the global campaign for the Year of Dialogue among Civilizations coordinated by the United Nations.

The jury of bukva:raz! included renowned experts in international type design and typography: Matthew Carter, Yuri Gherchuk, Akira Kobayashi, Lyubov' Kuznetsova, Gerry Leonidas, Fiona Ross and Vladimir Yefimov. The work of the jury was chaired by Maxim Zhukov.

The one hundred winning entries, selected by the jury of bukva:raz! for excellence in type design, will be on display in the Visitors' Lobby of the General Assembly Building through Sunday, February 9, 2003.
