Date and venue :
The first ATypI conference to be held in Canada will take place from 25th to 28th September, 2003 at The Westin Bayshore Resort & Marina, Vancouver, British Columbia. Located on the Vancouver waterfront, with spectacular views of the mountains and harbour, the conference and hotel facilities are the best in the city and are located within easy walking distance of the city centre.
About Vancouver, BC :
Vancouver is a dynamic, multicultural city set in a spectacular natural environment between high mountains, islands and ocean. It consistently rates as one of the top 10 meeting and convention destinations year after year and has been voted the world's most livable city for the third consecutive year. Vancouver is a major hub for direct flights to and from Europe, Asia, and many parts of the United States. Delegates who combine the conference with some holiday time will find Vancouver an ideal base for exploring the West Coast, Vancouver Island, or the Rocky Mountains.
Conference programme :
The conference programme is being planned and overseen by John Hudson, Wm Ross Mills and Rod McDonald. They will be making a call for papers and presentation proposals. Details of themes, keynote speaker and other elements of the conference will be announced shortly.
