About the Workshop :

This workshop will concentrate on lettering styles commonly used for signage. Students will learn layout, letter formation, and brush manipulation. A slide presentation will show outstanding examples of the sign painter's art. The techniques will use tempera paint (non-toxic) applied to card stock with red sable brushes. No prior brush lettering experience is required, but students should have taken at least one class in calligraphy or pen lettering.
