Type Salon

Looking at strong type solutions is always satisfying. But examining the inspirations and behind-the-scenes process of custom and altered type is even more satisfying. I will be discussing the majority of my work from the style pages of The New York Times Magazine and The Lives They Lived Issues. I may even throw in my new kitchen sinks — custom-designs inspired from an old, type book! Inspirations, sketches, variations and rejections will be included.
