Alex W. White is the author of six books (including Advertising Design and Typography, Thinking in Type, and The Elements of Graphic Design) and numerous articles on typography and visual communication. This three-session class investigates provocative advertising design–design for visibility and brand-building. Structured as a guided exercise, participants will develop and perfect their own advertising project. Requirements: please bring a PDF document and printout of one of your advertising projects.

Alex White is an award-winning designer and the Chairman of the Type Directors Club. He lectures professionally and has taught for twenty-five years (currently at Parsons The New School for Design).
